Hola! My name is Maria Bee. I'm a Latina living in BC, Canada. I'm an Educator and a Visual Artist.
Let me tell you a little bit about me:
- I'm passionate about creative journaling,
- I love vintage books, that includes the texture of their old pages, the smell, and that unique patina colour that shows the passage of the time.
- I enjoy reading novels.
- I am a coffee lover and
- a proud cat mama of my 2 companions: Cesca & Phillips
After facing many emotional and physical challenges due to a chronic pain condition I struggle with, I decided to start a new journey practicing creative mindfulness using a combination of my passions, art and teaching by hosting creative workshops/events to help people express themselves focusing more on the process rather than the outcome to be more present and aware of their thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
While I was engaging in more creative activities, I discovered that all this has become a booster for my emotional wellness and my mental health; reason why a burning desire grew in my heart to be a facilitator of the tools to provide support for all the creative souls out there, whether you are already on this journaling path or you're curious about it and would like to start now.
My love and obsession for ephemera, books, and stationery have inspired me to create all my curated kits.
